Well if i were George i would and wouldnt take care of Lennie. The reason i would take care of Lennie is because he has been with George since they were kids and theyre almost like brothers except that one needs more care than the other.George has been responsible for Lennie since his Aunt Clara died.So if George were to not take care of Lennie it would be like losing a brother for George.The reason i wouldnt take care of Lennie is because Lennie is holding George back from probably starting a family and having his own place.This is because he would always be worried about him and he would probably not trust him with anybody else but him.So its kind of a two-way street on whether or not George should take care of Lennie.
