Yes i do think people today still feel isolated and alienated like Crooks. In the story Crooks is isolated because of his race (color) and today people are still discriminated against. Today for example kids and teens are bullied because of thier race, color, or because theyre just different than everybody else.These kids feel alone and lonely like Crooks because they dont really have anyone to talk to. So these people literally isolate themselves from the rest of the world resulting in dangerous conseequences like depression or if its really extreme suicide.Today isolated and alienated people are in much more dangr because bullying is kind of more advanced you could say and there are many kinds like cyber bullying. That is why i think people today still feel isolated and alienated like Crooks.
