At one point in the story George says “Guys like us, that work on ranches, are the loneliest guys in the world. They got no family. They don’t belong no place….They aint got nothing to look ahead to.” I think that George is right because Lennie is always constantly getting them both in trouble. Like in weed when Lennie had touched the girls red dress because he liked it and the girl got scared and ran off telling everybody that she got raped. The same day George hid in a ditch with lennie until it was safe enough to leave. Also George is always taking care of their problems all by him self so he must feel lonely, Lennie cannot take care of himself so George is the only one looking after Lennie all by himself.
The advice I would give to George is to be patient and see how far he and Lennie could go, how much money they could make before Lennie causes a big problem and forces them to settle. Another piece of advice I would give George is to try and leave Lennie alone with a problem when he makes one, maybe this will tech Lennie that most of the things he does make problems come up for him and George. Then Maybe all of their problems will stop.
