I wasnt surprised at Curleys wifes death caused by Lennie. If you really think about it it would make sense. At the begining of the story we find out that Lennie likes to touch soft things. The mouse, the rabbit, the girl from Weed, and the puppy. So when Curleys wife told Lennie to touch her hair i was expecting something bad to happen. When Lennie was touching her hair she tried to get Lennie to stop but he didnt want to she he got scared and Curleys wife started to scream. It ended up that Lennie killed Curleys wife. When i read this all i thought was about the incident that happened in Weed with the girl and the dress. I also thought about the consequence. If they would have to leave the ranch like what happened in Weed. It ended up being that George kills Lennie.
