Section 2 Topic 18

My perspective on Slim drowning his puppies just becuase he had too many is really wrong. If I were Slim I would've sold them for more money to have with my $50 at the end of the month. There are a lot of people who would've been willing to raise and love those puppies and give them good homes. I can give two examples or characters who woul've been great owners. Example 1: Lennie, would have been an awesome owner because even though he can't bring one of the puppies to the bunkhouse he still tries and shows great love for it. Example 2: Candy, When his dog got shot because of age he had no one else tohave as a partner or have a relationship. My point of view on Carlson pressuring Candy to get rid of his dog is just very rude. Its not Carlson's decisions its Candy's. Ok he was old and stinky and pretty useless but, Candy had a friend who had been with him for a very long time. Carlson should've stayed out of it and let Candy make the decision when to lay peace to his dog.
